The first week of a 2mths break is ending soon.. Am finally done and over with free hand drawing.. nvr knew art could become such a tidious, time consuming subject... things do change from sec sch art to poly art.. esp since my freehand drawing is just an elective i tend to spend lesser time on it compared to other subjects.. did some changes to the arrangement of furnitures yest.. was super exhausted.. gonna do more works later.. and luckily man utd draw.. -_-"

as 2008 dawns closer, i felt that nothing much changed.. i'm still the slacker that i was and that studying is becoming such a chore..

i wonder how do the overachievers manage to enjoy studying as tho it was their hobby.
project deadlines are due in bout 3-4 weeks.. and we're like 60-70% thru.. probably gonna rush thru the last few weeks.. the great news tho is that sch's gonna be put in late feb.. gonna be such a blast.. already planned all the stuffs that im gonna do over that 1 and a half month break..

might be going out later with a fren and watch the fireworks at the esplanade to usher in the new year..

as for now, have a happy new year.

Went to school today and was glad everything went well.. Though i have no clue on what is happening... Hope to catch up real soon.. Decide to skip lecture and go home instead cos was feeling tired... Slept really late last night... Went to bed at arnd 4am.. Meeting Athena tmrw to pass her the A3 paper she asked me to help her buy.. For now, gonna do some photoshopping works..

So, for the first time in a week, i was able to go out of the house and walk properly again since the surgery. And man, was i relief to be able to do so at the expense of skipping my current favourite tv show, KYLE XY -_-"

But, sacrifices must be made. Least something good came out of it. Will talk bout it later on. Well, here's on the today's agenda.

After setting a time to meet Fed btwn my bro, Fez and him, I was told to get ready by 3pm.. But, we're late because i needed time to change the dressing of the wound. Plus, its just merely a guideline. So, instead of meeting at 3pm, we met him at 3.30pm. From there, we went to tamp interchange and took the MRT to Lavender. Met Zal along the way at Lasalle but since he was busy doing his art pieces, we decided to go ahead with our plan that is to Bras Basah to buy the art materials.

In the end, i only bought the A5 sketchbook because the items there are expensive. Next we head off to citylink mall's HMV for the cd. But along the way, my vision was side-tracked by someone. Took me one glance to recognise her. You wouldnt have guessed it, but it was Mariel. She was way; like so many" way" prettier in person than on tv. So i signal the rest to have a look. And after making some references, this is what we gathered.

There's like 2 lookalikes of her as far as we know. First is Candice and the other is Fazura.

Their similarities are that they are/were host of tv shows.

Mariel being the host of KidsCentral's ( i still am watching this channel at this age ) Bring Your Toothbrush and another game show which i can recall.

Candice being the host of KidsCentral's (again) Saturday programme Flux.

Last but not least Fazura being the host of MTV Jus.

Do tell me if u peeps out there know of anymore similarities between them.

Back to the story, at HMV, it took us a long time just to search for that cd but our efforts were in vain. So, we decided to head off to Heeren on foot. Something that felt like ages to me because of the distance we're going to take. A mistake too in my opinion because now, my left ankle and the wound is killing me. The new dressing is covered in blood now.

We were again side-tracked when a girl, who fed fancy stopped him (what an irony) to sign-up for a service by SingPost. Fed, in my opinion, she's of ave rating around 6.5-7 so there's no need to get upset for forgetting to ask her cell number. =P

That took us bout a few minutes to get the whole thing done.

Off to Heeren, ask the cashier for the cd this time round to save us time. Grabbed the cd, paid for it, and was told the drummer of the band was at the 1st floor of the department. After another side-track moment, we head off to TMall to complete the purchase of the materials needed.

Met Mad at the MRT station area, had dinner at BK and then back to home while mad continue with his journey to meet his gf.

For now, where's that painkiller.. ?!@!#@

Well, now that my schedule gave me some free time, i shall rant almost everyday i hope..

Been a week since i last went to school thanks to the surgery..

Walking doesn't help much either as it'll prevent the wound from closing..

But, thanks to the five days MC, i managed to hone my photoshop skills..

Will update a few more pics and post it there.

New term, new classm8s, new chics.. And damn those freshies.. This time round, there's plenty to go round... Just came across a cute one in sch just now... But thats just another of those eye candies... Projects are everywhere... Must think up of a biz idea for this entreprenuership class... And im under the weather... Fatigue is already settling in... And only 2 days of sch had gone by... wth...

Went out to IMM todae to upgrade the gps software. Hated the journey to jurong via mrt, so i decided drive there. The best part of going to IMM is that the parking is FREE. Its kinda astonishing though, cause a shopping mall that huge, could have easily collected hundreds or thousands of dollars per dae especially since it have a 6 storey multi-carpark. Oh well, as long as i could park the car without worrying much about the parking charges is good enough for me. Lol. When i reached to the "shop", i was told that they ran out of 1gb memory card wit the new software. WTF, it was a waste of my time and fuel. o_0" Now, i have to wait till the weekend for the new stocks to arrive. The End.
